Ex-Colonel Praises Critical Campaign

Australians have a right to know what their Government is doing in their name and to question politicians about their policies, and hoe it is being implemented or not implemented retired Colonel Ray Martin says.

Mr Martin was involved in a push for an outreach program after veterans believed they had been adversely affected by Defence-sanctioned antimalarial drug trials.

The RCB Review Group supports the medias Right to Know Campaign with particular interest in the second Right to Contest the Government’s decision.

Our experience in this contest reveals a denial of fair and just process by the Government. Our multiple requests over 13 years to meet with the relevant parties has been ignored.

We call upon the Prime Minister to appoint an “independent of government” e,g, a sitting magistrate, public inquiry.
