Honouring our Heroes Concert – Saturday 2 June 2018

50th Anniversary Concert

On the 2nd June 1968, Australian and New Zealand troops stood together against the North Vietnamese Communist Soldiers in what was known as the biggest and longest battle our ANZAC’s fought during the Vietnam War.

The Battle of Balmoral and Coral, proved to be a turning point for our troops and as we approach the 50th Anniversary of this battle, we are bringing together past and present serving veterans from all Allied sides, to this historic gathering.

The Honouring our Heroes concert gathering offers a time of bonding, remembrance and healing for all Australian, New Zealand and South Vietnamese Veterans.

Proudly presented by Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia Qld Branch Inc. in collaboration with Thai and Diamond Bich Ngoc (sponsor), Moreton Bay Regional Council (sponsor), the Local communities of Moreton Region, New Zealand community, Local Aboriginal community, Thai community of SE QLD and the South Vietnamese people of SE QLD.
