Retirement of Ted Chitham MC OAM (Lt Col Ret’d)

RARC Board Member Changes

At our last National Council meeting Ted Chitham MC OAM (Lt Col Ret’d) advised that this would be his last term as a Director of The Royal Australian Regiment Corporation.  Due to the intensity and workload principally as National Campaign Director for ADSO along with the many other advocacy activities he is involved with in the veteran community, Ted has decided to bring forward his retirement from the Board.

Ted Chitham MC OAM (Lt Col Ret’d)

Ted has fulfilled the roles of Director and Secretary since the formation of the National body in 2009.  Both of these roles involve a significant amount of work and commitment on a voluntary basis which reflects the dedication to service we have all made during our careers.  With that in mind, Trevor Dixon has subsequently stepped down as a Director and agreed to take over the role of Secretary.

Over the coming months we will seek out potential replacements for the casual vacancies on the Board, in the meanwhile: I would like to thank Ted for his tireless efforts over many years and in particular the work to establish and Incorporate the National body and Trevor for agreeing to pick up the baton to ensure a smooth transition.
