Governance

The Royal Australian Regiment Corporation is a company limited by guarantee registered under the Corporations Act 2001, it is traditionally known nationally as The Royal Australian Regiment Association (RARA).

Individuals appointed to the Board of Directors and member Associations form the National Council and are the only members of the RARA.  Neither the Board nor member Associations have any governance oversight or authority over Associations or any individuals who belong to those Associations that form the National Council.    All individuals are represented through membership of their relevant Battalion or State Associations at the Annual General meeting (AGM) and National Council meeting (NCM).

DGR Status:

Donations and Gifts that support the objectives of  The Royal Australian Regiment Corporation are tax deductible, a tax invoice/receipt for monies received will be issued upon request.  Please click here to view our application for DGR Status and approval by the ATO so that you can determine the type of items that may be claimed.
