Congratulations to Brigadier Fegan on his new appointment, a worthy HOC as seen from his short biography:

He was fortunate to spend a fourth year as a platoon commander and an additional year as a company commander at the Army Recruit Training Centre – Kapooka.

  1. Khalil,

What can one say? I met you as the CO 8/9 RAR and as the Secretary of 9 RAR Assn I enjoyed your undivided support for not only our Assn but all RAR Assns. The help and support you and your battalion gave to the “National Memorial Walk” was tremendous and made me and the old and bold of Dad’s Army that we were not only appreciated but were worthwhile. My fondest love to Ilona and is Elijah still a tight head prop or has he joined the brandy lime and soda set? Whatever on behalf of 9 RAR Assn Qld I wish you all well
