RAR BUDDIES IN BRISBANE

STOMP FOR SUPPORT – AUSTRALIA DAY 2012

I would like to share with you an event that I am taking part in with a large number of my Brothers on Australia Day 2012. I am part of a group called RAR (Royal Australian Regiment) BUDDIES and we are all ex serving or current serving Members of The Royal Australian Regiment which began in 1948 after the Second World War.

On Australia Day 2012, we are planning simultaneous National Route Marches all over Australia in Support of our deployed troops. Our goal is to raise funds towards assisting Legacy and helping families of our fallen soldiers with an aim of raising at least $120,000.00.

With time getting short, our fundraising efforts are ramping up and we are asking for your support in helping RAR Buddies achieve our goal for 2012. Donations can be made to Legacy as per this link RAR Buddies Stomp to Support http://www.everydayhero.com.au/RARbuddiesstomp

Brisbane participants will step off at 7.00 am from the entrance to Gallipoli Barracks, Lloyd   St, Enoggera, then route march to Southbank some 12 km away. All Battalion Members and RAR ex or serving members with supporters are welcome to STOMP, others may like to join us at the finish to make it a family day.

Brisbane Stomp contacts are Johnny Hoarau 0413 618 930 or Arthur Willemse 0405 693 066
