Trojan’s Trek Would Love your Support

Trojan’s Trek is recognised as the most effective peer support wilderness based intervention program to assist service and ex-service personnel, adversely affected by their service.

Trojan’s Trek was first run in the North Flinders Ranges of SA in the late 1990s to assist troubled Vietnam veterans return to a normal life. Since then the program has expanded to operation in Queensland.

Its objectives are to develop in the participants through joint and individual challenge:
•    an understanding of how thoughts and feelings influence behaviour
•    exposure to various strategies which will bring about positive change
•    suggested individual responses which are effective in achieving the aim, and
•    enhance self esteem

Trojan’s trek is a circuit breaker program in nature. Participants figuratively undertake a journey, which facilitates new ways of viewing themselves, their colleagues and partners in a remote location while investigating ways to facilitate change.

These are tough times for not for profits, but there is a way you can assist veterans and the Foundation continue to operate and earn comments like these

“In all my experiences of PTSD courses, Trojan Trek has provided me the tools to be a ‘better man’..”

“If I wasn’t here, I know I would not live to see Xmas.”

Trojan’s Trek is a veterans program run by veterans for veterans. Simply, show your support by voting for Trojan’s Trek Foundation here  https://mygivingcircle.org/leaderboard/biggest-give/?action=vote
